Poster Competition
Three Joint Biostatistics Symposium Poster Awards will be given to honor student and post-doctoral participants presenting their work during the Lunch and Poster Session at the Symposium. Each Poster Award winner will receive a certificate and a gift card.
Eligibility
Who Can Apply:
All researchers—including faculty, professionals, students, and trainees—are encouraged to submit and present a poster at the Symposium.Poster Competition Eligibility:
The competition is restricted to students and postdoctoral researchers. To be eligible, a participant must be a student or postdoctoral researcher who is the first author of the poster.Requirements:
- Register for the Symposium by March 12, 2025.
- Submit an abstract for the poster session by March 12, 2025, and indicate your interest in participating in the Poster Competition.
- An email will be sent approximately one week before the meeting requesting an electronic version of your poster, allowing judges to review the visual presentation and research in advance.
- Present your poster in person on Monday, April 7, 2025, between noon and 1:00 PM at the Symposium.
- As per our guidelines, each participant can present only one abstract and be considered for the poster award.
Submission Guidelines
Abstract Submission Deadline:
All abstracts must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. ET on March 12, 2025.All complete poster slides must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. ET on March 31, 2025

Competition Participation:
